Make it stand out.

I met Ms. De-Dee Loftin-Davis while serving as the Membership Chair of the Greater Norristown NAACP in Norristown, Pennsylvania. It was through this acquaintance that I got to know and experience the many talents of this gifted woman.

De-Dee is a true visionary who is always thinking of creative ways to break down barriers that will bring people together.

De-Dee worked with me planning and executing a 5K Multicultural Unity Day Celebration in Norristown. Here she executed with excellence the planning and leadership skills that were invaluable to make the event a success.

This NAACP Community event was attended by over 1500 people who came together to celebrate diversity and inclusion, all the while sending the message our Community is stronger when we embrace our differences and not allow them to divide us.

De-Dee was instrumental in helping to develop strategies to involve our Hispanic community in the Norristown and Greater Philadelphia areas.

De-Dee helped to increase our Hispanic membership by developing a strong partnership with several Hispanic organizations.

De-Dee is a passionate and caring advocate for the underserved and disenfranchised.  She ensures an environment where all voices can be heard so that individual differences can be discussed and vetted and then she offers alternatives and strategies to create change agents.

De-Dee is particularly energized when tackling tough issues dealing with racism, equity, equality and justice for Black and Brown People.

It is truly an honor to have worked with her and to call her my friend. De-Dee will do well in all endeavors because she is selfless in her approach and is always trying to improve the human condition.

Sincerely,

Renee M. Golden, BA, MEd.

Membership Chair-Greater NORRISTOWN NAACP

De-Dee provided an excellent training program to staff at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences that helped to significantly advance our anti-racism efforts.

She fostered a welcoming environment and her candor not only educated us but also encouraged our staff to speak up and engage in an important, challenging, and meaningful conversation.

I highly recommend her to any organization looking to foster an anti-racist culture.

When dismantling racial barriers, De-Dee is a breath of fresh air! I wanted to let you know how refreshing it was to talk with her.

Race and other barriers to participation are not topics that we’re trained to talk about so freely.

However De-Dee's personal approach, sharing of her experiences, and her natural ability as an educator put us at ease right away.

De-Dee, immediately helped us to understand that we’re all working toward the same goal and that it takes difficult conversations to grow.

De-Dee's approach was so positive and instead of faulting us for not being as familiar with terms and current thinking, she helped to educate us.

De-Dee gave us the freedom to make mistakes and understand that we’re all part of the solution. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed De-Dee's work and our conversations!!

Lastly, De-Dee helped us move our conversation forward. She made a difference. We still use some of De-Dee's messages she shared in our conversations. I hope to have the opportunity to work with De-Dee again in the future.
